Foreign Tourists Layovers in Taiwan to Receive NT$600 Gift Vouchers

Taiwan's initiative to support foreign travelers during short layovers aims to enhance airport tourism.

Taiwan’s Tourism Administration has announced that foreign travellers entering the country on short layovers via Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport will receive NT$600 in gift vouchers.
This new incentive took effect on Saturday, November 1, and is expected to boost tourism consumption at the airport.

The Enter Taiwan, Enjoy a Gift program allows travelers holding non-Taiwanese passports, who enter the country during a layover of up to 24 hours, to claim a voucher.
According to a statement from the Tourism Administration on Friday, October 31, this initiative aims to promote attractions at the airport.

This campaign also supports business growth for airport merchants and encourages the diverse development of Taiwan’s tourism economy.

How to Participate

To participate, travellers need to sign up through the official Enter Taiwan, Enjoy a Gift website.
They should present their passport and boarding pass for their connecting international flight at the Tourism Administration’s Visitor Service Centers at Taoyuan’s Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 to collect their voucher.

Please note that the promotion runs until October 31, 2026.
The voucher is valid at participating merchants within the airport, including restaurants, duty-free stores, souvenir shops, and other retail services.
A list of participating merchants is also available on the campaign website.
