Vietjet and global aviation education leader Airways Aviation have recently joined forces to cultivate the next generation of aviation experts.
The formal agreement was signed in Finland and was overseen by Vietnam’s General Secretary To Lam during his official visit. This collaboration aims to bolster Vietjet’s readiness for future global network expansion, effectively addressing the increasing travel demand.
Vietjet is expanding its international services, which now include increased frequencies on routes between Singapore and Da Nang, as well as Phu Quoc. As part of this partnership, Airways Aviation will work with Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) to offer international-standard pilot training programs in Europe.
These training initiatives will comply with regulations set by various aviation authorities, including:
- International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
- European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
- Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV)
The collaboration will provide specialized courses such as the Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL) and the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) to groom exceptional pilots for Vietjet’s expanding international network across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and beyond.
Vietjet is recognized as an IATA-accredited training partner in Vietnam and has trained thousands of aviation professionals, including pilots and flight attendants, as it continues to expand its operational network, enhancing connectivity opportunities throughout Asia.
