
The Lux Collective Partners with Big Waves Development to Open New Resort in Bali
The Lux Collective has announced a strategic management agreement with Big Waves Development for a new eco-friendly resort set to open in Bali by 2028.
International hospitality group The Lux Collective and Big Waves Development have formally signed a strategic hotel management agreement for SALT of Virgin Beach, an eco-conscious resort located in Bali’s pristine Karangasem region.
The property is set to open by Q1-2028, marking The Lux Collective’s first entry into Indonesia through its luxury brand SALT.
Big Waves Development CEO Maryna Bilobrovska stated: “Our strategic partnership with The Lux Collective is grounded in the shared vision to curate conscious living of the future. A Unique Location
Located in Karangasem, East Bali, Virgin Beach is celebrated for its unspoiled coastline, white sands, and turquoise waters. SALT of Virgin Beach aims to provide a serene beachfront escape away from crowded areas.
This contemporary hotel will cater to eco-travelers and conscious families, featuring 84 elegantly designed rooms with views of the Indian Ocean and Mount Agung. The project emphasizes sustainability, including coral reef restoration efforts and cultural integration. The resort aims to eliminate plastic, implement waste separation, and exclusively use sulfate-free products. SALT of Virgin Beach is also set to include a modern rooftop event space, an in-house bakery with locally-sourced produce, and the SALT Equilibrium Spa for wellness treatments.
