
Saudi Arabia Highlights Global Wellness at Inaugural FIBO Arabia
The first FIBO Arabia event received over 12,000 visitors and showcased more than 80 exhibitors, emphasizing Saudi Arabia's commitment to wellness.
FIBO Arabia, the premier international exhibition for health, fitness, and wellness in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), successfully concluded last week. The inaugural event welcomed 12,399 visitors and more than 80 exhibitors at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center over three days.
Under the theme For a Strong and Healthy Society, and aligning with Saudi Vision 2030, the event provided an integrated platform for innovation and collaboration across the wellness sector.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Investment as Strategic Partner, the Ministry of Sport as Executive Partner, and the Ministry of Health as the Wellness & Longevity Partner, featuring 80 global exhibitors and local enterprises with five dynamic live arenas.
RX’s Managing Director for the Middle East, Vasyl Zhygalo, stated, “Over three days, we have seen transformative ideas shared, new partnerships formed, and inspiring performances that highlight the Kingdom’s global ambition.”
FIBO Arabia’s Event Director, Cynthia Zeinoun, added, “This first edition is only the beginning; we are building momentum in Riyadh to shape the regional and international fitness landscape for the future.”
The event also introduced the Fitness Sector Development Report: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, showcasing the expected doubling of the fitness industry’s value to SAR 15.5 billion by 2030.
Leading brands from 18 countries, such as Technogym, Life Fitness, and Wellness First, participated, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s increasing influence in health and wellness. Notably, the conference included inspiring speakers focused on women’s empowerment in fitness, including Nelly Attar, the first Arab woman to climb K2.
