Air Charter Service Enjoys Significant Gains in Southeast Asia
Air Charter Service's Singapore office records substantial increases in charter numbers and revenue, benefitting from economic trends in Southeast Asia.
Asia has demonstrated a robust expansion in the private charter market over the first nine months of the year, exceeding the global average based on WingX data. The Singapore office of Air Charter Service has reported an impressive growth rate, arranging 61% more charters compared to the same timeframe last year.
Brendan Toomey, CEO of ACS Singapore, shared: “We have had a remarkable first nine months of the year, with a 61% increase in charter numbers, and by last month we surpassed last year’s total. Our revenue growth has also been exceptional, showing a 155% increase compared to last year.”
“The economic environment in the region, particularly in Singapore, has significantly contributed to our success. The relocation of many companies’ regional headquarters from Hong Kong has led to Singapore emerging as a preferred choice for several global firms. Furthermore, Singapore has established itself as one of Asia’s major aviation hubs, ranking as the fourth busiest airport worldwide for international passengers and experiencing heavy cargo traffic.”
“Our revenue has also been supported by several substantial cargo aircraft charters organized between Cambodia and Thailand following recent border closures in the region. However, we still see a strong underlying growth of 65%. By year-end, we anticipate record numbers of charters and revenue, our best since 2020. It’s an exciting time for our office, as we are considering adding new team members to accommodate this business growth.”
