
Jaipur Literature Festival 2026
The 19th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival, recognized as the greatest literary show on earth, returns to Jaipur, Rajasthan from 15th to 19th January 2026 at Hotel Clarks Amer.
For nearly 20 years, this festival has served as a platform where literature and ideas converge, gathering acclaimed authors, thinkers, creators, and readers worldwide. The upcoming edition vows to deliver another unforgettable experience that includes lively discussions, inspiring dialogues, debates, artistic performances, craft displays, cuisine, and a vibrant assembly of individuals - reaffirming the Festival’s legendary status.
Presented by Vedanta and produced by Teamwork Arts, the festival will feature over 350 speakers spanning six venues covering diverse topics from fiction to geopolitics. Additionally, the event emphasizes linguistic and cultural diversity, embodying India’s rich literary heritage.
The initial speakers list showcases renowned voices including Anamika, Anand Neelakantan, Anuradha Roy, and Stephen Fry among others.
Namita Gokhale, festival co-director remarks: “The festival is a vintage edition, reflecting on the cultural diversity of Indian literature. Our discourse will encompass changing global realities, specifically noting the impact of AI and modern storytelling.”
William Dalrymple adds: “This festival celebrates both written and oral traditions, uniting a multitude of intellectuals, thinkers, and writers from across the globe—a literary carnival that inspires the essence of storytelling.”
