This three-day event is not just a showcase; it’s a vibrant platform for exhibitions, business networking, cultural performances, and interactive experiences, effectively showcasing Macao’s achievements on a global stage.

Inside the pavilion, attendees find several themed zones:

  • Macao Impressions: Displays showcasing UNESCO World Heritage sites and tourism projects through digital imagery.
  • East-West Fusion: A dynamic presentation of grand events such as fireworks and food festivals.
  • World Heritage Walk: An engaging virtual tour of Macao’s Historic Centre, allowing visitors to explore its rich architectural textures through interactive screens.

At the pavilion’s plaza, the welcoming mascot “Mak Mak”, alongside captivating folk dance performances, draws a large crowd, making it a lively photo spot.

Macao’s participation signifies the Macao SAR Government’s return to the global Expo platform after 15 years, demonstrating Macao’s commitment to cultural exchange and cooperation marked by a focus on Chinese culture amid diverse cultural landscapes. It also highlights Macao’s dedication to cultural heritage and innovation within a global context, showcasing a model for building an inclusive society.
