Air Astana Unveils New Asia and Middle East Routes

Air Astana announces the introduction of new flights to various destinations in Asia and the Middle East set to commence in autumn 2025.

Air Astana has recently revealed plans to introduce several new flights, in addition to the resumption of existing connections to the Middle East and Asia, aimed for implementation during autumn 2025.

New Routes Overview

  • Starting last month, the airline has resumed twice-weekly flights from Almaty to Jeddah and once weekly from Shymkent to Jeddah.
  • Flights from Almaty to Medina will begin again twice a week later this month, while Shymkent to Medina will have weekly operations.
  • Services between Astana and Jeddah, as well as Medina, will be scheduled bi-weekly. There will also be new routes linking Aktau to both Jeddah and Medina with the same alternating schedule.

Old and New Connections to Asia and Beyond
Air Astana will be renewing services to various popular tourist destinations across Asia later in October:

  • Almaty to Male, Maldives: Initially three times weekly, increasing to five times a week during peak travel periods.
  • Almaty to Phu Quoc, Vietnam: Starting at five times a week, scaling up to daily flights in December.
  • Astana to Phu Quoc: Operating three times weekly.
  • Almaty to Dubai: Increasing flights from seven to twelve weekly.
  • Astana to Dubai: Growing from seven to ten per week.
  • Almaty to Bangkok and Phuket: Expanding from four to seven weekly flights.

All flights will utilize Airbus A320neo and A321LR aircraft.
