Delta Introduces Nonstop Flights from New York to Porto, Portugal Starting May 21, 2026

Delta Airlines is set to launch its first daily nonstop flights from JFK Airport to Porto, Portugal, enhancing travel options for passengers and expanding its European route network.

Delta’s new nonstop service from JFK to Porto is part of seven new European routes launching next summer, offering customers enhanced travel options and premium services. Starting May 21, 2026, this route will connect travelers directly to one of Europe’s vibrant coastal cities, featuring cultural richness and culinary delights. Paul Baldoni, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, emphasized that these additional services enhance travel choices and reinforce JFK’s status as a major global gateway.

Porto: Where the Douro Meets Discovery

Porto, with its picturesque waterfront and historic charm, serves as a culinary hub, famous for its seafood and port wine. Travelers will also have easy access to the scenic Douro Valley and Portugal’s beautiful northern beaches.

Delta’s service expansion includes year-round flights to Lisbon from New York and seasonal options from Boston.

For travelers from JFK, Delta One customers can enjoy luxurious amenities in the Delta One Lounge before boarding the Boeing 767-300, featuring multiple cabin experiences from lie-flat seats to curated meals.
