Trip.com Unveils Support Plan for Customers Affected by Disney Adventure Sailing Delays
In light of the recent postponement of certain Disney Adventure cruise trips, the online travel platform Trip.com has launched a comprehensive support program for those affected.
The agency will offer complimentary rescheduling options or full refunds for impacted bookings and will completely cover any cancellation costs incurred by qualified customers who have made non-refundable flight and hotel reservations.
This initiative highlights Trip.com’s commitment to proactive customer service and protection of consumer rights during unexpected circumstances and emergencies. However, due to an increase in service requests, the company requests patience from customers as its support team contacts those affected.
What Happens Next?
This special program is applicable to customers with Disney Adventure cruise departures scheduled between December 15, 2025 and March 12, 2026.
For those impacted, Trip.com will enhance support for round-trip flights to Singapore and hotel bookings made through their platform for stays within a week before or after the affected travel dates. Their award-winning customer service team aims to reach out to affected customers by September 30, providing two options: rescheduling based on availability or full refunds.
If customers encounter any additional losses during the refund or rescheduling processes, Trip.com commits to reimbursing the relevant costs by the end of September to minimize financial impact on travelers. Meanwhile, they are working with Disney Cruise Line to expedite related refund procedures, expected to begin this week.
