Cathay Collaborates with Hong Kong Disneyland Resort for Enhanced Travel Experiences

Discover the new partnership between Cathay and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort that aims to transform travel in Hong Kong.

Cathay and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims to unite two iconic brands and sets the stage for exciting offerings that bring magic and wonder to travelers’ journeys. This collaboration intends to stimulate inbound tourism and strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a premier global travel destination as well as a regional transit hub.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, officiated by Cathay CEO Ronald Lam and HKDL Managing Director Michael Moriarty. Beloved Mickey Mouse also made an appearance to celebrate the event.

In addition, they plan to explore opportunities for collaboration aimed at enhancing experiences for travelers transiting through Hong Kong, with the aim of launching a service in 2026.

Together, these two leaders seek to enchant and engage more visitors, ensuring unique and immersive experiences that align with the aspirations of contemporary travelers.
