Capital A’s Asia Digital Engineering Forms Long-Term Maintenance Agreement with Air France
A significant partnership has been established between Capital A’s subsidiary, Asia Digital Engineering, and Air France for aircraft maintenance.
Capital A’s maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) subsidiary Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) has officially partnered with Air France.
The agreement means ADE will take on heavy maintenance checks and aircraft modification services for Air France, starting with the Airbus A330-200 aircraft from October 2025.
Expansion of Operations
This initial phase will lead to more collaborations over the years, integrating other aircraft into the program as the partnership grows.
A New Era for Malaysian Aviation Zafrul Aziz, speaking during the signing, stated that tourism is on the rise, with a significant recovery projected in international visitor arrivals by 2024. He expressed optimism regarding Malaysia’s aerospace industry to capitalize on this growth.
Aziz emphasized, “To that end, we welcome partnerships with foreign aircraft providers who see Malaysia’s value proposition as a regional services and MRO hub to support their client servicing in this growing region.”
Géry Mortreux of Air France praised the partnership, citing ADE’s quality facilities and skilled workforce as key advantages. He remarked, “As Air France expands its network, ADE’s expertise ensures world-class maintenance minimizing downtime and maximizing performance.”
Mahesh Kumar noted this alliance as a milestone for not just ADE but Malaysia and the ASEAN aerospace industry, highlighting the regional MRO services’ capabilities and competitiveness. He concluded by stating, “This marks a strong testament to our region’s MRO services. We aim to reinforce Malaysia as an aerospace excellence hub focused on supporting Air France’s operational efficiency.”
