La Résidence Phou Vao Set to Reopen on November 1st

As the extensive renovation concludes, La Résidence Phou Vao in Luang Prabang is preparing to welcome guests again on November 1st. The project aims to preserve the hotel’s rich heritage while integrating modern luxuries.

Following its acquisition from Belmond by HMD Asia, the hotel has undergone significant upgrades to enhance guest experiences. Sanya Souvanna Phouma, a descendant of the Laotian royal family, is leading the redesign to ensure authenticity in every detail.

Phouma stated: “We wanted to create a sanctuary that remains true to its unique blend of Lao heritage and French art de vivre while offering contemporary comfort and refinement. Every detail of the redesign has been carefully considered to provide an atmosphere of quiet elegance and cultural depth.”

Set on Phou Vao Hill, the hotel will provide breathtaking views of Luang Prabang’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites and promises refined comforts reflective of its storied past.

Exclusive Reopening Offer

To celebrate the reopening, the hotel is introducing the “One More Dawn” Reopening Offer, encouraging early bookings for a complimentary third night with every two-night stay from November to December. This includes daily breakfast for two and round-trip transfers from the airport.

Guests can book directly through the hotel’s website or through other booking channels, with limited availability prompting early reservations.
