JetSetGo, India’s first marketplace for private jet and helicopter charters, and a leading fleet operator, has announced strategic partnerships with SkyDrive and Eve Air Mobility.
These collaborations aim to develop and deploy Urban Air Mobility (UAM) services in India. The announcement was made at the Urban Air Mobility Expo, part of the Bharat Mobility Show, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and supported by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA).
Key Highlights:
- Partnership with SkyDrive: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with SkyDrive to explore deployment opportunities for its electric multi-copter, “SKYDRIVE”. A Letter of Intent (LOI) covers up to 50 aircraft.
- Partnership with Eve Air Mobility: A separate LOI was established to integrate Eve’s Urban Air Traffic Management solution into JetSetGo’s future fleet operations.
Kanika Tekriwal, Founder of JetSetGo, stated: “Urban Air Mobility has the potential to change how we move within cities, making travel faster, easier, and more sustainable. Our partnerships with SkyDrive and Eve Air Mobility are significant steps toward addressing problems like traffic congestion and high emissions.”
Jonathan Sumner added: “Urban Air Mobility presents opportunities to improve transportation systems in urban areas, facilitating sustainable aviation technologies.”
Amit Dutta remarked about the pivotal role of CII in promoting advanced air mobility as part of a collaborative ecosystem.
In moving forward with the Prime Minister’s vision for Advanced Air Mobility, JetSetGo aims to enhance India’s air travel innovations, reflecting a commitment to improving connectivity and infrastructure.
