
Cathay Pacific Names Abhijit Abhyankar as New Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle
Abhijit Abhyankar has been appointed as the Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle at Cathay Pacific, overseeing various customer engagement initiatives.
Cathay Pacific has appointed Abhijit Abhyankar as the Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle. In his new role, he will oversee customer travel experiences and marketing initiatives across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa (SAMEA).
With over twenty years in aviation and hospitality, Abhijit brings significant expertise in sales and customer engagement. Previously, he was the Regional Head of People for SAMEA, involved in various roles including Head of Marketing and Digital Sales.
His journey in hospitality began at Ambassador Hotel, Le Meridien, and Holiday Inn, before he transitioned into aviation with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Air France–KLM. Joining Cathay Pacific in 2009 as Corporate Sales Manager, he has significantly contributed to the airline’s strategy in the region.
Based in Mumbai, Abhijit will aim to enhance travel experiences and forge partnerships in lifestyle and digital engagement.
