Trip.com Introduces Complimentary Layover Tour Service in Hong Kong for Long-Distance Travelers

The new service by Trip.com provides free layover tours for travelers with long itineraries passing through Hong Kong, showcasing the city’s culture and attractions.

Exclusive Local Experiences for Transit Passengers

To enhance the travels of long-haul passengers, Trip.com has unveiled its Free Layover Tour Service in Hong Kong. This initiative follows the successful Shanghai Express and Beijing Express tours and targets travelers with layovers of at least seven hours at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

The service offers six distinct routes, three of which are free, designed to immerse travelers in the vibrant culture of Hong Kong. Participants don’t need to have booked any travel through Trip.com to enjoy these enriching experiences; bookings can be made via the Trip.com app or website, or directly at the airport.

Three Free Tours Include:

  1. Serenity & Stories: A Harmony Journey
    Time: 09:00 – 13:00
    Highlights: Visit Inspiration Lake and Ma Wan Village.

  2. Heritage and Local Lifestyle Citywalk
    Time: 12:00 – 16:00
    Highlights: Explore Pei Ho Street Market and Wong Tai Sin Temple.

  3. Victoria & West Kowloon Waterfront Journey
    Time: 17:30 – 21:30
    Highlights: Cultural District tour and Avenue of Stars.

Six Curated Routes

Three premium itineraries targeting deeper exploration of popular sites, like Lantau Island and Tai O fishing village, are also available for registered participants. Booking for these requires advance notice via the app.
