ZUZU Hospitality Secures $5.9 Million in Series B Funding Expansion
The funding comes at a pivotal time for ZUZU as it aims to lead the artificial intelligence transformation in the hospitality industry.
Independent hotel technology company ZUZU Hospitality has successfully raised $5.9 million during its latest Series B extension round. Contributors included long-time supporter Wavemaker Growth and Velocity Ventures, among others previously investing in the company.
ZUZU founder Vikram Malhi expressed optimism, stating, “The fact that existing investors have come in gives us confidence that they believe in us at this pivotal moment when technology can be our rocket booster.”
This funding arrives as ZUZU is poised to take the lead in the ongoing AI revolution reshaping the global hospitality sector.
Empowering Independents through Cutting-Edge Technology
ZUZU’s latest offer is RevMate, a revenue management tool powered by AI that adjusts room rates based on trends and learning from booking patterns. RevMate simplifies pricing logic, making it accessible for smaller hotels lacking in-house revenue teams. Initial deployments have recorded a 40% boost in efficiency and revenue increases of up to 30%.
Malhi views the introduction of AI as a significant growth factor: “AI gives us rocket boosters. It compresses product cycles, lowers costs, and lets us build for markets that were closed to us before… new players can break into old industries.”
This innovative endeavor positions ZUZU to expand its client base and cater to larger clients across Asia and beyond.
