Aman’s REGENERASI Exhibition to Relocate to Amanjiwo
REGENERASI, a traveling collaborative exhibition between Aman and the groundbreaking Indonesian farm-to-closet brand SukkhaCitta, is set to transition to Amanjiwo in Java this autumn.
The Java leg of the exhibition will open on Monday, September 1st and will be hosted at Amanjiwo until December 31st. Currently, it is in its final week at Amandari.
This exhibition encourages reflection and rethinking of our impact on Earth. Crafted by women using indigenous techniques and regenerative cotton, each piece is designed to decompose naturally, minimizing waste.
REGENERASI serves not just as a textile display, but as a living narrative, illustrating how fashion can rejuvenate both our land and our lives.
An Act of Love for the Earth
At its core, REGENERASI reminds us that what we wear can show care for our planet. SukkhaCitta shares a purpose similar to that of Amandari and Amanjiwo: uplifting local communities and honoring ancestral wisdom.
Through handwoven textiles dyed with plants and the stories of the women behind them, REGENERASI advocates for a mindful understanding of how our fashion choices correlate to our lifestyles, promoting the idea that fashion has the power to heal and renew.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore handwoven fabrics dyed with natural elements, engage with MAMA TANAH—an initiative that empowers women farmers to restore the soil and sustain their communities—and view the debut of KAPAS Kala, SukkhaCitta’s newest collection developed on regenerative farms.
