Devasom Resorts has confirmed the continuation of its scholarship program for a third consecutive year. This initiative exemplifies the hospitality group’s commitment to supporting local communities through education.

The scholarship offers full tuition and educational materials coverage for the recipient’s entire bachelor’s degree program, with a flexible structure allowing students to choose their career paths without pressure to stay with Devasom.

Atirak, co-founder and Managing Director, articulated that the scholarship program is part of Devasom’s contribution to fostering the future of Thailand by empowering youth who will influence their communities.

This program also aligns with Devasom’s larger social responsibility goals, which include various cultural preservation projects, the Artist in Residence program, and community support initiatives.

Meet This Year’s Recipient

The 2025 scholarship recipient, Sakda Thonglek, hails from Takua Pa, Phang Nga, and is set to study in the Faculty of Education at Thaksin University. This commendable student from Takuapa-Senanukul School boasts an impressive GPAX of 3.91 and is also a beach volleyball athlete, representing his region in national events.

Sakda shared that receiving the scholarship is transformative for him. “I had decided not to continue my studies due to my family’s financial challenges, but now I see a path to a future. I am motivated to extend opportunities to others whenever possible. My aspiration is to become a teacher in Thailand and lead youth sports teams to gain recognition in competitions while enabling others through similar opportunities.”
