Preferred Hotels & Resorts announces new appointments and strategic developments to strengthen its presence and support hotel members in the Asia Pacific region.

Overview

Preferred Hotels & Resorts has recently made significant appointments and strategic developments aimed at enhancing its presence within the Asia Pacific region while continuing to support its hotel members.

Laurence Onfroy, recently elevated to Vice President of Business Development for Asia Pacific, is positioned in Singapore to drive regional growth while expanding the hotel portfolio and fostering strategic partnerships. In addition, she will lend support to global and regional marketing initiatives.

The team further includes James Koh, overseeing operations since 2022, and Cheryl Siow, who will enhance hotel retention strategies in the region.

In Greater China and Australia, Eddie Wong has taken on the role of Area Managing Director, ensuring effective oversight of expansion and operational strategies.

In Japan, Midori Kataoka has been appointed Area Managing Director, with a significant market comprising 50 member properties, while Yuichi Kanasaki joins as Director focused on optimising hotel revenue.

Additionally, the group welcomed new member properties in the Asia Pacific region, with plans for further developments in high-performing markets, underscoring the brand’s commitment to enhancing its luxury offerings and support throughout the region.
