The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi is honored to announce its achievement of the Forbes VERIFIED Responsible Hospitality badge, marking it as the first hotel in Langkawi featured in Forbes Travel Guide’s responsible hospitality program, a standard of sustainability for luxury establishments.

This prestigious recognition is given to properties that meet over 100 rigorous standards aiming to protect the environment and support the welfare of employees, guests, and local communities. This accreditation underscores the resort’s steadfast commitment to sustainable practices.

In a successful year, the resort also garnered accolades such as Best Hotel Pool in Malaysia from Travel + Leisure’s Luxury Awards Asia-Pacific 2025, inclusion in the Top 500 Hotels in the World, and recognition as Best Resort in Malaysia from DestinAsian’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2025.

The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi, emphasizes a blend of sustainability and luxury through innovative guest programming and conservation initiatives. These include educational expeditions led by naturalists to enhance guest understanding of the region’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.
