The 35th annual Food Expo organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will take place from August 14 to August 18 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai. This year’s event will also host the 9th Beauty & Wellness Expo and the 11th Home Delights Expo, alongside the trade-centric Food Expo PRO and the 16th Hong Kong International Tea Fair.

Around 1,890 exhibitors will participate, showcasing a range of gourmet foods, wines, teas, health and beauty products, and innovative home appliances. The event aims to provide a comprehensive sourcing and shopping experience for trade buyers and the general public.

Additionally, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products will occur on August 14 and 15, offering insights into the field.

At the press conference held on August 7, HKTDC’s deputy executive director, Sophia Chong, stated, “The 35th Hong Kong Food Expo and its concurrent events are key highlights in Hong Kong’s event calendar to stimulate local consumption and ensure an unforgettable experience for visitors.”

The event promises diversity, with exhibitors from 35 countries, including participants from new regions such as Brazil, Mongolia, and Zimbabwe. Various regional pavilions will showcase international products from various countries, enriching the event’s cultural experience.

Multiple innovative activities, competitions like the coffee cupping contest, and seminars focusing on halal food products will also enrich the attendees’ experience.
