Emirates Debuts Aircrafted KIDS Initiative in the MENA Region with 800 Bag Donations

Emirates has rolled out its Aircrafted KIDS initiative, providing 800 backpacks to Egyptian non-profits Resala and Educate Me to support early education.

Emirates has recently inaugurated its Aircrafted KIDS initiative across the Middle East and North Africa by donating 800 bags to two non-profit organizations in Egypt. This program arose from the recognition that education is a pivotal factor in societal development, yet the lack of resources impedes access for many children and young adults.

The donated items, consisting of sparkling backpacks and essential stationery, were provided to Resala and Educate Me, organizations dedicated to creating supportive environments for underprivileged youth. Emirates aims to empower these students with functional and stylish supplies, reinforcing its dedication to connecting communities and fostering relationships that make a tangible difference.

Abdalla Al Zamani, Country Manager for Emirates in Egypt, stated: > “Education is one of the most powerful tools we have to change society… We remain committed today, not just to scaling our operations but to enriching the surrounding communities too.”

The Emirates Engineering team crafted these unique backpacks from upcycled materials taken from their iconic A380 and 777 aircraft. The initiative also included school supplies such as pens, pencils, geometry sets, and books sourced from local authors.

Adel AbdelFattah from Resala expressed gratitude, saying, > “We sincerely thank Emirates for their support, which brings us closer to our vision of inclusive and equitable education for all.”

Christine Safwat from Educate Me Foundation added, > “We’re deeply grateful for the contributions from Emirates, which create a more enriching learning environment.”

Overall, the Aircrafted KIDS initiative has donated more than 2,750 bags to various organizations across Egypt and other regions as part of its mission to uplift youth through educational aid.
