RedDoorz Celebrates Opening of 100th SANS Property in Indonesia

The SANS Vibes Hotel Seminyak becomes a significant addition to RedDoorz's expanding portfolio in Bali, marking a key achievement for the hospitality brand.

Southeast Asian multi-brand hospitality tech platform RedDoorz has officially opened its 100th property under the SANS brand, the SANS Vibes Hotel Seminyak, situated in the heart of Bali, Indonesia. This milestone highlights the brand’s rapid growth and its dedication to meet the evolving expectations of contemporary travelers.

RedDoorz’s Founder and CEO, Amit Saberwal, remarked, “Reaching 100 SANS Hotels is a proud milestone for all of us at RedDoorz. It reflects not just the strength of our brand, but also our ability to anticipate and respond to the changing needs of today’s travelers. Bali is the perfect location to mark this achievement; it embodies everything the SANS brand stands for: energy, creativity, and a lifestyle-first mindset. As digital nomadism and flexible travel continue to rise, we are excited to keep expanding our footprint with properties that offer style, comfort, and affordability across Southeast Asia.”

The inauguration of the SANS Vibes Hotel Seminyak aligns with RedDoorz’s strategy to address the rising demand for flexible accommodation, particularly among millennials and remote workers looking for a blend of work and leisure in Southeast Asia’’s prominent destinations.

A welcome addition to the Balinese hospitality sector
Bali has emerged as a global hotspot for digital nomads, and SANS hotels are tailored to accommodate this lifestyle segment, providing stylish, budget-friendly stays with robust Wi-Fi, lively community spaces, and prime locations. RedDoorz’s expansion comes at a perfect time, with foreign tourist arrivals to Bali increasing by 20% year-on-year in 2024, reaching 6.3 million visitors.

Indeed, Bali has become a preferred destination, particularly attracting visitors from Australia, Russia, and Germany. Leading travel resources such as Lonely Planet continue to rank Bali among the top 10 destinations for digital nomads.

The revival of Bali’s tourism sector sets the ideal stage for RedDoorz to unveil its new sub-brands, including SANS Stay (a cheerful minimalist concept with competitive pricing), SANS Vibes (a lively lifestyle concept), and SANS Elite (a premium offering featuring sophisticated designs and comprehensive amenities).

This expansion strategy seeks to meet both the requirements of property owners and travelers’ expectations for unique and diverse lodging experiences.

A chill place to stay
RedDoorz launched its SANS Hotels brand in 2020 amid the pandemic, presenting a contemporary, budget-friendly hotel option as part of its multi-brand growth plan. The name SANS, derived from the Indonesian word “santai,” loosely translates to “chill,” aiming to provide a vibrant and cozy stay experience at affordable rates. Properties under the SANS brand feature trendy decor and amenities, aimed at consumers who appreciate stylish comfort and modern design without hefty prices. Since its initiation, SANS has recorded over 1.3 million stayed nights across 35 cities.
