ATPI Enhances University Travel Management with Seamless NDC Integration
ATPI has made strides in simplifying travel for academic institutions by introducing a new seamless reservation platform that integrates NDC (New Distribution Capability), touted as “NDC = Not a Problem”. This platform is designed specifically for universities, recognizing their unique travel approval processes and financial models.
Peter Hosper, Commercial Director at ATPI, states: “We’ve built a university-centric solution which can also be used in the corporate sector, on a rock-solid Not A Problem! foundation: our approach to NDC.”
(Translation: We have developed a solution tailored for universities that is also adaptable for corporate needs.)
The platform minimizes the slow manual processes typically needed for booking approval, which is crucial in educational settings while maintaining high compliance and adapting to corporate scenarios.
The ATPI Difference
This innovative solution ensures 100% compliance during purchases, accommodating various financial aspects including FBT and travel allowances, thereby reducing the workload on staff significantly. A local university noted a substantial 78% decrease in manual interventions in travel bookings since implementing ATPI’s system.
Hosper shares: “With one major university, 99 percent of Qantas online bookings are now NDC and no one even realizes it. That’s the point: no disruption, no training trauma; just results.”
(Translation: This highlights the smooth operation of our platform where users effortlessly engage with the booking process.)
As higher education faces pressures to manage funding and improve operational efficiencies, ATPI’s approach meets these challenges head-on without compromising on flexibility. ATPI has not only secured re-signs with a major university but is also in talks with other tertiary institutions about potential partnerships.
