Garuda Indonesia and Singapore Airlines (SIA) will deepen their commercial partnership in August 2025, featuring collaborative fare products, an extended codeshare network, and joint lounge access.

From August 2025 onward, travelers can book flights on both airlines for services between Singapore and Indonesia within a single itinerary, enhancing convenience and fare options.

The partnership will also expand the codeshare to include additional destinations. Garuda Indonesia customers will gain access to new SIA routes, including Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, and Male. Meanwhile, SIA’s clients can use Garuda’s services from Denpasar to Labuan Bajo and routes connecting Jakarta.

Existing codeshare flights from Singapore to Denpasar, Jakarta, and Surabaya will remain unchanged, alongside SIA routes to London (Heathrow) and Mumbai.

From mid-August 2025, members of GarudaMiles and KrisFlyer frequent flyer programs will have mutual lounge access when traveling between Singapore and Indonesian cities. This access includes lounges such as Garuda’s Executive Lounge and KrisFlyer Gold lounges.

SIA also increased its flights between Singapore and Jakarta to nine daily flights as of May 2025. Subject to regulatory approval, Garuda Indonesia plans to raise its Jakarta-Singapore flights to seven per day by late 2025, up from six.

Wamildan Tsani, President and CEO of Garuda Indonesia, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing its role in enhancing travel experiences. Goh Choon Phong of Singapore Airlines highlighted how this collaboration benefits customers through expanded options and improved frequent flyer offerings.
