Preferred Hotels & Resorts Forms Alliance with Dayblink GPO to Streamline Distribution

This new partnership is aimed at enhancing the distribution strategies for member hotels of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, allowing them to operate more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand, has partnered with DayBlink GPO (Global Procurement Organization) to help its member hotels enhance their control over distribution channels and decrease dependence on costly options.

Phase one of this collaboration introduces chain-wide agreements with well-established B2B travel distributors, Hotelbeds and WebBeds, aiming to provide more equitable conditions for the over 600 properties in the Preferred Hotels & Resorts portfolio.

Moreover, as the distribution landscape evolves, the brand is empowering its members to recover control, fortify booking strategies, and compete on fairer terms through robust partnerships.

“As the distribution landscape continues to evolve, it’s vital to work with partners who can boost both booking results and profitability for our hotels,” said Cheryl Williams, Chief Revenue Officer at Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
“Our partnership with DayBlink GPO brings better commercial terms, improved rate parity across different distribution partners, and greater control over inventory distribution, providing our hotels with the support they need to succeed.”

Additionally, Michael Wong, CEO of DayBlink GPO, stated, “Now more than ever, it’s important for our partner hotels to regain control over their inventory and benefit from fair terms. In the future, we plan to continue consolidating distribution among a select group of like-minded partners.”

This strategic initiative is a reflection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to supporting independent hotels in navigating a competitive market. Key advantages of this partnership highlight chain-wide commercial agreements, safe distribution, and centralized inventory control via SynXis.

Following its introduction at the upcoming 2025 Global Conference, member hotels are encouraged to participate in this initiative aimed at improving distribution practices and optimizing performance.
