Advantage Travel Partnership Adds Ian Simmonds as Independent Non-Executive Director

Advantage Travel Partnership has appointed Ian Simmonds to enhance its executive team as an Independent Non-Executive Director, bringing significant experience in the travel sector.

The Advantage Travel Partnership has officially appointed Ian Simmonds as its new Independent Non-Executive Director. Simmonds has been collaborating with the company for several years, initially serving as interim Chief Financial Officer, during which he conducted a thorough review of the group’s financial strategy.

Steven Esom, the Chair of Advantage Travel Partnership, remarked:

In his new role, Simmonds aims to contribute to shaping the future of this prominent brand in a rapidly changing industry. He has previously held key positions such as Chief Operating Officer at Mercury Holidays and served in various leadership roles at Travel Republic and TUI Travel PLC.

Other Non-Executive Directors include: Suzanne Horner (CEO of Grey Dawes Group), James Beagrie (Managing Director of Meon Travel), Sharon May (Proprietor of Worldwide Travel Solutions), and Paul Harwick (Director of Retail at Fred Olsen Travel).
