Etihad Airways has achieved an incredible milestone by flying over 20 million passengers within a year, a first for the airline. According to Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, the past year has witnessed unprecedented growth, with passenger numbers doubling from 10 million in just over two years.

To celebrate this achievement, Etihad surprised a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Chopra, flying from New Delhi to Toronto, by upgrading their travel experiences, including a luxurious stay in The Residence, the airline’s three-room suite in the sky.

Additionally, the airline has expanded its fleet to over 100 aircraft, welcoming new Airbus A380 and Boeing B787-9 jets, as well as introducing advanced A321LR aircraft set to join the fleet soon.

Etihad’s aggressive expansion has led to new destination announcements, ensuring the airline will operate almost 90 routes worldwide by the end of 2025, positioning it strategically within the aviation market.
