Akasa Air Expands Options to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh 2025

Akasa Air has ramped up its connectivity to Prayagraj, introducing special flights from four Indian cities alongside its regular services from Mumbai and Delhi. This expansion aims to cater to the surge in travel demand during the Maha Kumbh 2025, a major spiritual gathering.

From January 27 to February 28, 2025, Akasa Air will operate daily flights connecting Prayagraj to Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru via Delhi. Additionally, from January 28 to February 26, 2025, direct flights will link Ahmedabad and Bengaluru to Prayagraj, offering increased capacity and travel options.

Akasa Air commenced operations from Prayagraj in May 2024. The Mahakumbh is a significant spiritual event attracting pilgrims from around the world, and these flights will facilitate access, showcasing Akasa’s commitment to promoting cultural vitality in India.
