
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) held its Airline Focus Partnership Meeting on Monday, July 7, to unite efforts with over 50 airlines and key stakeholders in tourism as the busy travel season approaches in the fourth quarter.
Representing TAT during this meeting were:
- Chiravadee Khunsub (Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas)
- Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai (Asia and the South Pacific)
Among the attendees were representatives from:
- Airline Operators Committee
- Airports of Thailand (AOT)
- International Air Transport Association (IATA)
- Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT)
- U-Tapao Airport Authority
Participating airlines included:

Boosting arrival numbers through cooperation
The goal of the meeting is to increase international arrivals through joint marketing, enhanced flight capacity, and improved connectivity.
These efforts will align campaigns with traveler behavior to stimulate spending and support local economies.
From January to June 2025, Thailand welcomed over 16.68 million international arrivals, with 24.59 million inbound seats, demonstrating a 7% increase compared to the previous year and 88% above pre-COVID levels.
Notable growth was seen from countries including Russia, the UK, Germany, France, the US, Malaysia, China, India, South Korea, and Japan.
