RISE 2025: Reshaping Hospitality by Empowering Women

RISE 2025 is an upcoming event aimed at uplifting women in the hospitality industry. Scheduled to take place in Phuket, this full-day experience focuses on career growth, skill development, and inclusive leadership.

Co-organized by C9 Hotelworks, Mrs B Group, and Delivering Asia, the initiative invites a diverse audience including students, young professionals, senior executives, and business owners.

The event will be hosted by Sumi Soorian, founder of Mrs B Group, alongside Jirarat Ninpradub, the general manager of Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort. Together, they will lead workshops and discussions that empower participants with essential leadership skills.

“RISE 2025 is about creating a safe, dynamic space where women at all career stages can grow and support one another,” states Sumi Soorian.

The day will begin with a guided meditation session conducted by Viona Zhang, deputy managing director at C9 Hotelworks, allowing participants to prepare mentally for the day’s impactful program.

The keynote lineup boasts prominent figures including Kornkanok Yongsakul, Rohit Sachdev, and Kanoknat Adhyanasakul, each providing valuable insights on topics related to personal branding, training importance, and leadership transformation.

Chantal Fernandes, British honorary consul to Phuket, will share career lessons from her extensive experience. Moreover, Nisha Abu Bakar from the Women in Tourism Association will examine the pivotal role of women leaders. Supapim Wannopas from UN Women will discuss sustainable entrepreneurship programs aimed at women in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
