Introducing New Services
Scoot, the budget airline subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has announced the launch of new flight routes to Da Nang and Nha Trang in Vietnam, as well as Kota Bharu in Malaysia. These services are set to commence gradually between October and November 2025.
Additionally, pending regulatory approvals, Scoot aims to initiate services to Medan and Labuan Bajo in Indonesia, along with Okinawa in Japan, during the Northern Winter 2025 season.

Leslie Thng, CEO of Scoot, expressed excitement regarding this network expansion:
“We are excited to broaden Scoot’s network with these new destinations. Simultaneously, the increased flight frequencies to particular cities in the upcoming months leading into the year-end holiday season will help meet rising demand. We will continue to explore new growth opportunities and expand our presence in the region, connecting our customers to more destinations, new adventures, and unique experiences.”
Flight Schedules
- Da Nang: Thrice-weekly flights starting October 20, changing to daily flights by December 2025.
- Nha Trang: Twice-weekly flights beginning November 21, increasing to five flights weekly by January 2026.
- Kota Bharu: Two flights a week from October 26, 2025.
The new flights are available for booking from now through Scoot’s website and mobile application, with plans for availability through other platforms soon.
Following the launch to Kota Bharu, Da Nang, and Nha Trang, Scoot will operate 115 weekly flights across 12 cities in Malaysia and 44 weekly flights to five cities in Vietnam.

Da Nang is celebrated for its stunning beaches, numerous bridges, and notable landmarks like the Marble Mountains, as well as easy access to the UNESCO World Heritage site of My Son Sanctuary and historic districts such as Hoi An and Hue.
Meanwhile, Nha Trang is well-known for vibrant nightlife and fresh seafood, making it a popular destination for those after a tropical retreat.
Kota Bharu serves as a cultural and historical center in Malaysia’s Kelantan state, renowned for royal palaces, riverside mosques, and lively markets, offering insights into traditional Malay culture, including Rebana Ubi (traditional drums), Silat dance, and Wayang Kulit (shadow puppetry).
