
Tourism Authority of Thailand Celebrates Cultural Heritage at Gala Night
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) successfully showcased Thailand’s Soft Power through a seamless blend of cultural richness, artistic creativity, and heartfelt hospitality at the Amazing Thailand Saneh Thai Gala Night held on June 30 at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok.
This gala featured the theme Myth of Siam: A Gala of Timeless Wonder, where TAT governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool stated that the event beautifully illustrated Thailand’s story through layers of culture and spirit, showcasing the warmth of Thai hospitality. She emphasized, “We successfully projected Thailand’s Soft Power on the global stage through culture, art, and cuisine, while inspiring both first-time and returning visitors.”
As a fundamental part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025, this event affirmed Thailand’s status as a world-class tourism destination. Thai minister of tourism and sports Sorawong Thienthong called it a powerful stage for celebrating Thai culture and reigniting global travel interest, accentuating the dimensions of Thai charm and hospitality.
Dignitaries, including numerous officials and representatives from various sectors, attended the gala, including key figures from TAT’s Be My Guest campaign. The evening featured cultural showcases and performances, alongside a melding of heritage and innovation with standout fine dining experiences.
The showcase zone highlighted the “5 Must Do in Thailand”, presenting guests with opportunities to engage with local craft, food, and interactive exhibits, closing with a curated gift set, Thailand in the Box, showcasing handcrafted regional items.
