ATIA Introduces National TravelTick Directory

The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has launched TravelTick, a new national directory designed to enhance visibility and consumer confidence in accredited travel businesses throughout Australia.

TravelTick serves as a unique platform where consumers can easily locate accredited travel professionals. This initiative is meant to funnel inquiries directly to accredited members of ATIA.

Dean Long, the Chief Executive of ATIA, stated, “TravelTick gives the industry and searching consumers what they’ve been asking for: a simple, trusted way to find qualified travel professionals. We know that making it easier to find an accredited agent or tour operator is what our members want us to do.”

This launch marks a significant development in ATIA’s efforts to boost consumer awareness about accredited businesses and underscores their importance.

Benefits for Accredited Businesses

  • Inclusion in TravelTick will highlight the credibility of ATIA Accredited businesses, showcasing their services and specialties.
  • This directory aims to simplify the booking process for Australians, ensuring they book with confidence.
  • With over 120,000 visitors to ATIA’s platforms in the last year, the directory responds to the rising demand for trustworthy travel providers.
  • All accredited businesses have been incorporated into the directory, and they are encouraged to update their profiles with relevant images, descriptions, and service details.

As Dean Long articulates, “ATIA is focused on delivering results for our members. TravelTick puts their business in front of consumers and drives real opportunities straight to their inbox. In light of recent insolvency cases involving non-accredited businesses, it is crucial to facilitate access to our members.”
