Greater Bay Airlines Set to Launch Regular Service to Phu Quoc in October 2025

The new service will transition from seasonal to regular, enhancing travel options between Hong Kong and Phu Quoc.

Hong Kong’s Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) has announced the enhancement of its Phu Quoc route, transitioning from a summer seasonal service to a scheduled one starting October 27, 2025. This development, announced on June 26, aims to broaden the airline’s network in Asia.

The new service will operate four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday) between Hong Kong and Phu Quoc, catering to traveler demand. However, the official schedule is still pending government approval.

A Notable Destination

Phu Quoc, located in the southwestern region of Vietnam, is the country’s largest island and is rapidly becoming a favored holiday spot. It is famous for its stunning natural beauty and pristine beaches such as Bai Sao Beach, Long Beach, and Starfish Beach.

As part of the Kien Giang Biosphere Reserve, Phu Quoc National Park serves as an essential ecological sanctuary, offering numerous attractions including Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park, Aquatopia Water Park, and various scenic sites, making it an ideal getaway.
