Resorts World Sentosa has officially launched ticket sales for the newly renovated Singapore Oceanarium as of June 26. This opening occurs ahead of the ceremony slated for July 23, with the public invited to explore the new features commencing July 24.

The redesigned oceanarium will offer visitors a unique opportunity to engage with marine life through innovative storytelling and scientific displays aimed at promoting marine awareness.

Celebratory Events Announced

To commemorate the opening, the oceanarium plans to host a series of celebratory activities which include workshops, showcases, and more — catering to guests of all ages to enhance their understanding of ocean stewardship.

In addition, a highlight of the opening includes Research & Learning Week from July 25 to 27, featuring expert-led talks and hands-on workshops that emphasize ocean conservation efforts.

Featured Attractions

One notable exhibit is the Living Oceans Exhibition, showcasing marine biodiversity in partnership with the National University of Singapore and Sentosa Development Corporation. This display aims to highlight the crucial role of preserving our oceans.

Additionally, the gallery Ties That Bind, created by renowned photographers Toh Xing Jie and Michael Aw, captures the intricate relationships within ocean ecosystems. It emphasizes the need for conservation efforts through striking visuals.

The oceanarium also highlights the significance of local marine life, with a dedicated area that celebrates species found in Singapore’s waters, reinforcing the call to protect our marine heritage.
