Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Launches in the Philippines

The renowned barbecue chain opens its first location in the Philippines, with more to come.

Philippine food and beverage company G2G All Spice Eatery Group Inc officially introduced the Filipino dining public to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on Sunday, January 26.

Dickey’s first location in the Philippines is at PARQAL Mall in the southern Manila suburb of Parañaque. G2G executives say that additional locations in key areas of the capital are already in the pipeline.

The official opening was attended by G2G vice-chairman and executive chef Max Lee, company president Rommel Ng, Dickey’s USA executive vice-president of international sales and support Jim Perkins, and Cocoy Wenceslao, vice-president for logistics at DM Wenceslao and Associate Inc.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s entry into the Philippines marks the brand’s expansion into Southeast Asia, following its earlier establishment in Singapore. This restaurant also represents the chain’s fourth location in Greater Asia, having already opened outlets in Japan and Pakistan. The Philippines now joins a growing network that includes franchises in Brazil, Egypt, and the UAE.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is a family-owned establishment renowned for its hickory-smoked barbecue that began in Dallas, Texas in 1941, founded by World War I veteran Travis Dickey. For over eight decades, it has maintained a commitment to Southern hospitality and authentic barbecue flavors.
