The Emirates Group’s annual flagship innovation and technology forum, ForsaTEK, is once again presenting cutting-edge technology partnerships, dynamic start-ups, and emerging talent developing groundbreaking concepts.

This year, ForsaTEK has expanded its reach to drive greater innovation engagement across the Group’s various departments. The focus is on scaling successful trials to maximize the value of promising innovations. The forum emphasizes the role of AI, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) in reshaping aviation, alongside the importance of human factors in effective technology adoption.

ForsaTEK was officially inaugurated by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of the Emirates Group, accompanied by Sarah Al Amiri, UAE Minister of Education, and senior executives for an overview of innovation showcases.

“Building on the success of the first two editions, ForsaTEK 2025 reinforces our commitment to pioneering the next wave of innovations and fostering partnerships that propel our digital future,” stated Sheikh Ahmed.

This event showcases over 40 in-house and partner innovations, spanning from early-stage research to fully launched initiatives. Notable projects include advanced robotics for urban safety, autonomous drone systems, and AI-driven turnaround analysis in aviation.

The event also hosted a pitch zone with 13 start-ups presenting their innovative ideas to a panel of VIPs, investors, and tech industry leaders. Sarah Al Amiri’s keynote focused on how technology is revolutionizing public education, emphasizing the UAE’s aim of integrating AI into school curricula to prepare youth for the future.

Additional renowned tech experts, such as Dr. Mark Esposito and Younes Bensouda Mourri, participated in discussions on rethinking human intelligence and the societal implications of AI.

ForsaTEK also introduced the Afkar app, designed to harness employee ideas across the organization, with a winning proposal automating visa validation to enhance passenger experience.
