YOTEL Tokyo Ginza officially opened on June 9 through an immersive Grand Opening Party celebrating YOTEL To The World. This event showcased the global brand’s mission to challenge traditional hospitality standards.
The grand opening attracted over 200 guests, revealing YOTEL’s trendy design and cutting-edge technology throughout the hotel. Notable attendees included senior leaders from YOTEL and Frasers Hospitality—the firm’s partner in Japan—and influential local figures.
Situated in the bustling Ginza district, this launch signifies a significant milestone for YOTEL as it brings its global Non-Stop ethos to the Japanese and wider APAC markets.
An Immersive Globetrotting Experience
During the celebration, guests explored various city-themed rooms reflecting YOTEL’s global presence. Using a YOTEL passport, they collected stamps on their journey, visiting virtual locations like New York and Singapore.
Room themes included:

- Ginza Game Room: A nostalgic arcade atmosphere.
- Southeast Asia Oasis: A serene retreat with massages.

The night’s proceedings began with a captivating Japanese drum performance. Shinya Ogawa introduced notable executives, including Frasers Property CEO Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi and YOTEL CEO Hubert Viriot, who together welcomed their guests. This was followed by traditional events, merging international presence with local pride.
