In the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards, Qatar Airways has again been recognized as the leading airline globally, outperforming its competitors, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific.

This marks the sixth occasion in eight years that Qatar Airways has secured this prestigious title. Additionally, the Middle Eastern airline garnered ten awards in total, including honors for best business class, best business class seat, and best airline in the region of the Middle East.

Qatar Earns Ten Awards, Including Best Business Class

The Skytrax awards began in 1999 to celebrate airlines based on passenger satisfaction surveys, with participation from over 100 customer nationalities for the 2024-2025 survey period.

Qatar Airways not only took the top honor but also received nine other awards. In North America, Delta Air Lines claimed seven awards, including distinctions for the best economy and business classes but did not achieve the top airline status, which went to Air Canada. Air Canada also earned recognition as the most family-friendly airline.

Other notable U.S. carriers included United Airlines ranking fourth and JetBlue in fifth place. Alaska Airlines ranked sixth, while Allegiant Air finished in the top ten. American Airlines did not rank in the North America top 10, obtaining an 83rd place in the Top 100, surpassing Allegiant, Sun Country Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines.

Allegiant Airlines achieved awards for being the best low-cost airline in both the U.S. and North America, outperforming Frontier Airlines and Spirit Airlines. In contrast, Alaska, American, Southwest Airlines, and United did not earn individual accolades.
