Moscow to Present Tourism Highlights at OTM 2025 in Mumbai

Moscow is gearing up to showcase its tourism offerings at the OTM International Tourism Exhibition in Mumbai.

Moscow is set to captivate audiences at the OTM International Tourism Exhibition in Mumbai from January 30 to February 1, 2025. Over the course of three days, the city will showcase its top offerings in cultural, leisure, and business tourism.

The Moscow stand will host more than 500 key business meetings and negotiations, connecting tourism representatives from Moscow with Indian counterparts. Experts will present flagship projects including the Moscow Tea Time Project, which revives traditional Moscow tea customs, the Moscow Estates Festival, attracting over 100,000 visitors annually, and the Moscow Gastronomy Project.

Joint initiatives such as the Moscow+ Project aim to foster collaborative tourism throughout Russia, particularly highlighting the Tyumen region and its Visit Tyumen Project. Moreover, the exposition will exhibit Moscow’s export potential alongside the brands Discover Russia and Made in Moscow.

Key attractions will include the VDNH Complex, renowned for its blend of Soviet architectural magnificence and modern interactive museums. Additionally, the Moskino Cinema Park captures the attention of India’s film industry as a potential filming destination.

Six major tour operators will be involved: Headed Goose, Tari Tour, Volshebny Tour, FUN & SUN, INTOURIST, and Academservice, alongside three prominent hotels: Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy, VEGA Hotel & Convention Center, and Izmailovo Hotel Complex. They will collectively promote diverse services for Indian tourists, ranging from luxury accommodations to tailored tour packages.

A Moscow Business Mission will convene on January 28, gathering prominent tourism figures and about 80 Indian tour operators for enhanced collaboration. This will be followed by a reception hosted by the Moscow City Tourism Committee on January 29, welcoming Indian partners and high-ranking officials including Ivan Fetisov, Victor Gorelykh, and Evgeny Kozlov.

Moscow prioritizes the Indian market for its tourism outreach, actively engaging in Indian events such as BLTM, SATTE, and OTM to strengthen partnerships and gain insights into Indian travelers’ preferences. Through targeted business missions and familiarization trips, Moscow aims to bolster its position as a prime destination for Indian tourists at the OTM 2025.
