Alaska Airlines Launches Global Getaway Sale with International Flights from 10,000 Miles

Alaska Airlines is offering a new sale for international flights, allowing travelers to book flights for as low as 10,000 miles one way.

Flyers who collect Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles have the chance to book international flights at a significantly reduced price through the latest Global Getaway sale. The airline is featuring one-way international award flights for as low as 10,000 Mileage Plan miles, with discounts reaching up to 50% off standard award pricing.

The pricing is part of Alaska’s Global Getaway sale, celebrating a “Taste the World” theme focused on culinary destinations.

Europe Flights Starting at 20,000 Miles, Asia at 30,000 Miles

This promotion will continue until June 30, 2025, for travels scheduled between August 1 and November 15, 2025. Available seats include options in both economy and premium classes.

Travelers can enjoy flights from the U.S. to Monterrey, Mexico, starting at just 10,000 miles one way, while flights to cities such as Naples, Italy and Buenos Aires, Argentina kick off at 20,000 miles. For 25,000 miles one way, Mileage Plan members can reach Tbilisi, Georgia, and for 30,000 miles, they can fly as far as Bangkok.

This initiative coincides with Alaska Airlines’ efforts to merge the loyalty programs of Hawaiian Airlines into Mileage Plan. Alaska announced the acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines in December 2023. Points can be transferred from HawaiianMiles to leverage this award sale, despite the Hawaiian loyalty program’s impending end.

Beat of Hawaii reported the deadline for booking award flights using HawaiianMiles will be June 30, 2025, for travel through February 28, 2026. Additionally, earning Hawaiian miles through various airline partners and transfer offers from American Express will also cease on this date.
