ITE Hong Kong Set to Emerge as a Major Hub for Buyers and Suppliers
The upcoming ITE Hong Kong is poised to be one of the year’s most significant events in the travel industry, attracting a large number of suppliers and buyers.
Scheduled to take place from June 12 to June 15, 2025, the event will be held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), specifically in Halls 1A to 1E.
The initial two days will cater exclusively to trade participants, while the final two days will be open to the general public. This year marks the 40th anniversary of ITE, incorporating both the 39th ITE Leisure and 20th ITE MICE, with this being its fifth live event since the pandemic.
What’s on in Hong Kong?
Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John KC Lee will greet participants with a special message on the opening day of the event. In addition, Rosanna Law Shuk Pui, HKSAR’s Secretary for Culture, Sports, and Tourism, will lead the inauguration ceremony on June 12 at the ITE Grand Stage.
Before the grand opening, a press conference will be held on June 3, and a preview exhibition is scheduled for June 11.
From June 12 onward, around 30 simultaneous events will be organized during the two trade days, followed by up to 80 seminars on travel topics during the public days. Approximately 60 nations will be represented among the exhibitors, with 30% coming from outside the broader Asian region.
Attendees are anticipated to include 500 exhibitors and over 7,500 trade professionals and potential buyers.
A Step Toward Inclusion
To support participants from Mainland China, several seminars will offer AI-driven automatic translations with English and Chinese subtitles displayed onscreen.
The B2B Program this year will feature business matching opportunities for buyers and suppliers, expert-led themed discussions, promotional initiatives for sponsored seminars, and special workshops focusing on niche products and emerging destinations.
Additionally, the Hong Kong Metropolitan University will facilitate an industry forum under the banner of The Sustainable Shift: Where Purpose Meets Profit, with speakers from both corporate and academic backgrounds.
Public Travel Seminars will also make a highly-anticipated return for B2C attendees, assuring a wealth of knowledge and insights for all participants.
