Avianca Introduces Seasonal Flights from Chicago to San Salvador

Avianca has launched its new seasonal route, providing direct flights between Chicago and San Salvador to enhance connectivity and tourism.

Avianca has officially launched its seasonal route between Chicago and San Salvador, offering three weekly flights during the peak summer travel season of 2025. This service is set to provide travelers with 1,080 seats per week, utilizing Airbus A320 aircraft—each capable of accommodating 180 passengers.

This route aims to enhance both tourism and business connectivity between the two cities. Rolando Damas, the Sales Director of Avianca for North America, stated: “This route reflects our strong commitment to providing greater access and connectivity for both U.S. and Salvadoran travelers seeking a direct link between these two destinations.”

With this direct connection, Avianca reinforces San Salvador’s importance as a hub, enabling convenient access to various destinations throughout Central and South America.
