Etihad Airways is excited to announce the launch of flights to two remarkable new destinations in Central Europe: Prague and Warsaw. The inaugural flight to Prague was successfully operated on June 2, marking the addition of this enchanting Czech capital to its network, followed by the inaugural flight to Warsaw on June 3.
“Our new Prague and Warsaw services open doors to countless possibilities,” said Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer at Etihad Airways. “These new routes create a bridge between two remarkable regions, connecting travellers from the Middle East to the heart of Central Europe, while offering seamless connections via Abu Dhabi to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, and Australia.”
Often referred to as the City of a Hundred Spires, Prague is famous for its breathtaking Gothic architecture and vibrant cultural scene. The city is home to a UNESCO World Heritage site with centuries of architectural treasures. In contrast, Warsaw dazzles visitors with its modern skyline juxtaposed against traditional markets and rich history.
Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, offers a unique blend of tradition and modern luxury, serving as a gateway to experiences that span from cultural landmarks such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to thrilling adventures on Yas Island.
Prague and Warsaw are part of Etihad’s broad expansion plan, which includes 16 new destinations planned for 2025, alongside notable cities like Atlanta and Taipei.
