Trafalgar Introduces European River Cruises Starting April 2026

Trafalgar is set to launch two river cruise journeys in Europe, enhancing its offerings in the travel market with remarkable experiences along the Danube and Rhine Rivers.

Trafalgar, one of the world’s most reputable travel companies, is expanding into the river cruise sector with two exciting new journeys set to commence in April 2026 along the Danube and Rhine rivers.

Overview of the Cruises

The eight-day Best of the Danube and 10-day Best of the Rhine and Amsterdam cruises will operate from April to October 2026. Bookings will be open for travel agents starting May 6, 2025, prior to the general public.

The Best of the Danube cruise begins at US$2,799 per person based on double occupancy, while the Best of the Rhine and Amsterdam cruise starts at US$3,399 per person based on double occupancy.

Trafalgar’s river cruises will be operated by two 128-passenger vessels: the Trafalgar Verity and Trafalgar Reverie, designed to provide comfortable travel with exceptional service.

Each cruise promises local connections, unique experiences, and onboard entertainment with activities such as yoga sessions, regional performances, and gourmet dining.

The Best Of The Danube cruise will travel from Budapest to Passau, hitting major stops like Bratislava, Vienna, and Linz, while the Best Of The Rhine And Amsterdam cruise takes guests from Amsterdam to Basel, featuring major highlights such as Cologne Cathedral and the charming town of Strasbourg.
