The project, executed in partnership with London-based agency First Within — known for the award-winning GAIA Marbella — fosters a distinctive and immersive atmosphere. “La Plaza has always been the social heart of our resort,” asserts Gonzalo Rodríguez, General Director of Puente Romano Marbella. “This redesign pays homage to the Andalusian architectural heritage while enhancing the contemporary energy that characterizes La Plaza.”

The new Bar La Plaza offers a fresh take on cocktail culture, drawing inspiration from classic European hotel bars. It’s an elegant setting where guests can enjoy artisanal cocktails paying tribute to Spanish artists, presented creatively to narrate a story through each drink crafted from the finest ingredients. The elevated area of Bar La Plaza serves light snacks from Nobu, establishing a perfect bridge between the resort’s gastronomic offerings and its lively nightlife. As the evening descends, La Plaza transforms with the energy of international DJs enlivening the ambiance, complementing other entertainment venues like COYA Club.
