Chef Dani García to Participate in the Inaugural Culinary Icons Event in Marbella
On June 2, top chef Dani García, who has been awarded three Michelin stars, will join the innovative culinary initiative Culinary Icons held at the Puente Romano Marbella resort. This unique event will bring together three prominent figures in international gastronomy in an exclusive venue known as La Plaza, blending the essence of an Andalusian square with contemporary design.
Dani García will share the stage with esteemed chefs Nobu Matsuhisa, renowned for his Japanese-Peruvian fusion and creator of Nobu Marbella, and Izu Ani, known for his Mediterranean cuisine at GAIA Marbella. The trio will engage in a live cooking demonstration, showcasing a signature creation that exemplifies their culinary styles. These dishes will also be replicated in their respective restaurants within the resort and served to attendees, offering a multisensory and immersive experience.
García expressed, “It’s a privilege to share the kitchen with colleagues like Nobu and Izu in my homeland for a charitable cause. These gatherings reinforce the notion that gastronomy not only feeds but also brings people together and transforms lives.”
The event aims to support the Red Cross with an entry fee of €100 per person, with all proceeds going to this humanitarian organization. The initiative not only promotes high-level gastronomy but also contributes positively to the community.
The program will commence at 12:00 PM at La Plaza, and due to its exclusive and intimate nature, the number of spots is limited. This presents an unmissable opportunity for gourmet enthusiasts and culinary tourism lovers in Marbella.
