Five Sofitel and MGallery hotel restaurants in Australia have been awarded Chef's Hat rankings, showcasing their exceptional culinary talent and commitment to quality.

Five Sofitel and MGallery hotels in Australia were recently awarded Chef’s Hat rankings by the Australian Good Food Guide. These accolades recognize the culinary talent and commitment to excellence demonstrated by these establishments.

This recognition reflects Accor’s strategic focus on enhancing food and beverage offerings as integral to the guest experience.

The recent renovation of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth exemplifies this trend, now featuring four bars and restaurants offering a blend of nostalgia and contemporary culinary trends.

David Fraser, mentioned the importance of the connection between food and travel, stating: “At Sofitel hotels, cuisine is an art form and an expression of local flavours, often with a touch of French zest”.

The following hotel restaurants received honors:

  • 2 Hats: Atelier by Sofitel – Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour: A fine dining experience with French-inspired dishes and stunning views.
  • 1 Hat: Newmarket Restaurant – The William Inglis Hotel: Known for its contemporary Australian cuisine.
